Description
Created in 1967, this second wine of Château Haut-Bailly owes its name to an old Bordeaux grape variety. Vinified in the same way as the estate’s first wine, it also comes from the same plots of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The grape selection is strict, resulting in superb fruity freshness. This Pessac-Léognan is distinguished by its black fruit aromas and silky tannins. Unlike its elder sibling, it can be enjoyed immediately, but a few years in the cellar will not displease it.
