Located in the Castile and León region, the Toro vineyard has been producing powerful red wines since antiquity. It was also the first European wine to cross the Atlantic in 1492. This ancestral expertise has been passed down through centuries, allowing Toro wines to enjoy international renown. The Numanthia estate produces the local star grape, Tinta de Toro, on an 83-hectare vineyard, some of whose vines are over a century old.
