Description
La Roche-Vineuse is the village where Olivier and Corinne Merlin settled in the 1980s. They work with vines aged from 5 to 30 years, drawing from clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand. The whole grapes are then vinified with light racking. This is followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, as well as fifteen months of ageing in barrels. This fruity and exotic Mâcon lets the terroir express itself on the palate with minerality and freshness. Enjoy it in its youth, with snails or frog legs.
