Description
Château Calon Ségur is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. It takes its name from the “calones”, wooden boats that sailed on the estuary, and from the Marquis de Ségur, former president of the Parliament of Bordeaux. The estate has 55 hectares of vines located in the far north of Saint-Estèphe. This Marquis de Calon cuvée is the Château’s second wine. It comes from vines around twenty years old. After ageing for 17 months in barrels, it offers a rich aromatic bouquet of black and candied fruits.
