Description
Thyme is an aromatic herb related to wild thyme, with a more pronounced aroma. It thrives on sunny hillsides and produces nectar in favourable weather, especially after rainfall and in the absence of wind. With its dry, rocky terrain, Spain provides the ideal environment, and the nectar flow, which follows that of rosemary, yields a pleasantly fragrant flavour and the characteristic aroma of Mediterranean flora with balsamic notes.
