This 171st Edition of Krug Grande Cuvée is a blend of 131 wines from 12 different years. It is composed of pinot noir, chardonnay and meunier, with 42% reserve wines from the House making up the final blend. This is a full and rounded champagne with a nose that reveals aromas of marzipan, gingerbread and ripe citrus fruits. Expressive and elegant, the palate is based on notes of hazelnut, nougat, fruit and citrus jelly. A pastry champagne with a very beautiful finish on candied fruits.
