Description
Duluc de Branaire-Ducru is the second wine of the eponymous château. This Saint-Julien appellation red wine is vinified with the same care as the emblematic cuvée, a fourth grand cru classé in 1855. It is produced from younger vines to obtain a fruity wine, with a dominant Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, it exudes floral aromas of violet, fruity notes of blackberry and Morello cherry, with a touch of tobacco and a hint of minerality. You can enjoy it in its youth after an hour of aeration, or keep it in the cellar for a few years.
